John Paul II Award

Our John Paul II Award Group will be meeting on Monday evenings at 7.00 at the Parish Hall, Malvern Terrace.

The Pope John Paul II Award was created to commemorate the late Pope John Paul II who was so committed to young people and who had such belief and confidence in them. The Award is a faith achievement award for young people between the age of 16 and 18. It is non-competitive, inclusive, flexible and voluntary.

The Award enables participants to take an active part in the life of their Church – in the life of their community and society. It enables young people become more aware of the teaching and role of the Catholic Church in the world and to engage at a deep level with Christ.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Parish Defibrillator – Last year 2017/18 the parish Pope John Paul II Group completed a sponsored climb of Cuilagh Way, Fermanagh, to raise funds for a parish Defibrillator. The Defibrillator will be placed near Our Lady’s Statue outside the Parish Hall in the grounds of St Columb’s Church. Many thanks to all those sponsors and encouragement the group received. Well done to all the Group.
PLEASE NOTE: Parish Defibrillator introduction training will take place on
Monday, 22nd October at 7pm in Parish Hall, Malvern Terrace. Everyone is welcome to attend.
